Simple Workflow.

Capture, process and organize your photographs.

• Take photos in RAW with AdobeRGB color space and Med High Sharpening.
  
  
• Download to SortThese folder with PhotoMechanic™, rename, apply stationary pad, delete the junk, and rename in sequence.
  
  
• Move remaining RAW files to NEF folder using PhotoMechanic™.
  
  
• Using Capture NX™, I batch the RAW files removing in camera sharpening and adding an USM 55-5-4 setting at the same time. I call this step 1st Step RAW.
  
  
• Check each image and note whate needs to be done in editing.
  
  
• Working off my notes, adjust each image as required. I take the notes in case I have to stop editing before finishing.
  
  
• Move edited files to the Finished folder.
  
  
• Move the outstanding shoots to BEST OF THE BEST NEF.
  
  
• Copy all work to second and third external hard drive.
  
  
• Have a cocktail, after 12:00 of course. Take a nap.

      JPEGS - (you will put your JPEG images here)

      NEF - (you will put your RAW files here)

            Finished - (files will be moved here after editing)

      SortThese - (you will donwload from card to here)
